SPS Monitoring a person during and after antidepressant switching

This new article from the Specialist Pharmacy Service, updated in February 2023 provides advice on monitoring people during and after antidepressant switching. This includes reviewing at appropriate time intervals, advising patients on what to expect and reporting and to be aware of discontinuation symptoms and serotonin syndromes.
