Marketing Assistant (Temporary)

Description

Purpose of the role:

To provide design and administration assistance to the Marketing department, working closely with Marketing Executive and Head of Marketing on the delivery of all marketing campaigns and material.

This is currently a temporary role, running to 31st August 2024.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Updating content on our services website, including adding blog articles and job posts
  • Updating content on our ordering website, including adding/removing/amending products, sourcing images, writing descriptions, and managing content pages and banners
  • Working with Head of Marketing and Marketing Executive to create effective email templates and other marketing material to support all marketing campaigns
  • Working with Sales team to create effective presentations, proposals and contracts
  • Liaising with Marketing Executive to create clinical training seminar presentations, as part of our Ashtons Academy offering
  • Liaising with clinical staff to create Ashtons branded charts, forms, guides and other dispensary products for use by both our clients, and internally by our Warehouse and Dispensary departments
  • Creating, updating and formatting documents, forms, presentations as requested by various departments
  • Maintaining contacts held within the Ashtons site user database and ensuring details are mirrored in the CRM system
  • Printing branded items requested by Warehouse and Dispensary
  • Liaising with purchasing department to organise external printing of branded items
  • Monthly update of online ordering contacts and segments in Zoho
  • Creating internal posters and signs for events, career opportunities, and notice boards
  • Creating training certificates for clients who complete Academy courses
  • Creating ID cards for new starters
  • Setting up accounts on MyAshtons for new starters
  • Maintaining Ashtons organisation chart and “Who’s Who” document
  • General administrative support to the marketing department, including post duties

Essential Skills:

  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, notably Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good graphic design skills
  • Good copywriting skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience creating email templates and campaigns
  • Good proof reading skills

Key Relationships:

  • Line Manager – Head of Marketing
  • Team Member – Marketing Executive
  • In this role you will also work with a wide number of people around the business on various branding, design and formatting tasks
