National supply shortage of olanzapine (Zypadhera) depot

There is a national supply shortage of olanzapine (Zypadhera) depot in all strengths. 

Ashtons will continue to source supplies, but the manufacturer is expecting the stock shortage situation to continue until mid-November.

If there are available surplus stocks within your wards/hospitals, we encourage the sharing of olanzapine depot stock to help maintain treatment for patients.

Different strengths of olanzapine depot can be used to make up the required dose for a patient.
