SIGN 164 Eating disorders – new guideline from Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS)

This new guideline from HIS covers eating disorders in any health or social care setting and is designed for healthcare professionals, education and social care workers involved in the care of people with eating disorders, and also patients and their families/carers.

It makes recommendations covering the following eating disorders:

• anorexia nervosa
• bulimia nervosa
• binge eating disorder
• eating-disordered psychopathology occurring in the context of type 1 diabetes mellitus
